New Features

We've updated how you search for and display items for Substances and Nutrient Targets. These lists were getting a little long, so we added new searches and filters. We've also made some improvements to layout, organization, and landing pages.

1. Smart Search

We've completely rewritten the search engine for Substances and Nutrient Targets. It now uses a better n-gram matching algorithm combined with precise filtering.

2. Library Filters (My Items vs. Global)

You can now instantly toggle between views in your Substances, Nutrient Targets, and Ratio lists:

• All: The default view, mixing your private items with the public library.
• My Items: Shows only the items you have created. Perfect for managing your personal inventory.
• Global Library: Shows only the public, shared items.

3. Sharing Features: Privacy & Import

We've also updated the documentation for our recently released Sharing features.

4. Google Authentication

You can now login to the application using your Google account. We do not get any access to your account, this is just 1 step faster than typing in your own email or setting a password.

Bug fixes

• Button Consistency: Made all the round buttons squares.
• Search Indexing: Fixed n-gram generation to produce correct 3-character substrings for better match density.
