Register

The Register page is where you can create a new Hydro-Calc account. Having an account allows you to save your custom substances, mixtures, nutrient targets, and feed schedules, making your work persistent and accessible.

You can start building mixtures and using the calculator without an account. When you're ready to save your work permanently, register here and all your anonymous session data (mixtures, shelf) carries over automatically.

How to Register

1. Navigate to the Register page. You can usually find a link to this page from the login screen or the main navigation.
2. Fill out the registration form:
   • Email Address: Enter a valid email address. This will be your username for logging in and will be used for password recovery.
   • Password: Choose a strong, unique password. It's recommended to use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
   • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password to ensure there are no typos.
3. Click the "Register" button.

Sign up with Google

You can quickly create an account using your Google account. This provides a fast and secure way to register without needing to set a new password for Hydro-Calc.

1. On the Register page, click the "Sign up with Google" button.
2. A Google sign-in pop-up will appear. Select your Google account or sign in with your Google credentials.

Upon successful registration or login with Google, you will be automatically logged in and redirected to the Home Page, where you can begin using Hydro-Calc.

Benefits of Registering

Registering for a Hydro-Calc account is completely free and is essential to unlock the full functionality of the platform. Your data (mixtures, substances, etc.) is saved to your personal account. For information regarding data usage and privacy, please refer to our Disclaimers page.

By registering, you can:

• Save Your Work Permanently: Anonymous session data expires after 24 hours. A registered account keeps all your substances, mixtures, and feed schedules safe indefinitely.
• Run Optimizations: The mixture optimization engine (standard and cost-optimized) requires a registered account.
• Create Custom Substances: Add and manage your own fertilizer profiles beyond the global library.
• Feed Schedules & Logs: Plan your full grow cycle and track application history.
• Collaboration & Sharing: Share your mixtures and feed schedules with other users via unique links.
• Personalized Experience: Manage water quality profiles, nutrient targets, and tailor the app to your needs.
